Founder

Rachid Moukhabir has been named the 2018 Year for Revere by Essex Media.

Rachid Moukhabir, BS, MBA, is the visionary founder of Mass Association of Computer and Internet Resources (MACIR), an organization dedicated to narrowing the digital divide and promoting racial equity within the realm of technology careers. With a robust background spanning over a decade in Technology Management, particularly in the field of Healthcare Technology, Mr. Moukhabir is a seasoned professional with a commitment to leveraging technology for societal advancement.

Graduating with a Bachelor’s of Science from the esteemed Wentworth Institute of Technology, Rachid continued his academic journey by obtaining a Masters in Business Administration, specializing in Engineering and Technology Management from Northcentral University. His educational prowess is complemented by his certification as an Information Systems Security Professional, a prestigious credential conferred by The National Security Agency (NSA) and the Committee on National Security Systems, underscoring his dedication to safeguarding US systems from cyber threats.

Currently serving as the Global Technical Service Manager at TransMedics, a pioneering organization in the preservation of transplant organs, Rachid represents the company on a global scale. In this role, he engages with some of the world’s most prominent healthcare institutions, medical schools, and research centers across America, Europe, Asia, and Australia.

Rachid Moukhabir’s impact extends beyond the professional realm, as evidenced by his recognition as the person of the year in the city of Revere in 2018, an honor bestowed upon him by the Essex Media Group. This accolade acknowledged his leadership in spearheading numerous events that left a lasting imprint on the community. Furthermore, Rachid was appointed by the Mayor of Revere to serve as a Human Rights Commissioner for two terms, reflecting his dedication to fostering inclusivity and equity within the city.
