A nonprofit built to deliver at the intersection of community and technology.
MACIR (Mass Association for Computer and Internet Resources) is a nonprofit organization that designs and operates technology access programs for communities across Massachusetts and beyond.
We were founded to address a simple but persistent gap: communities often receive funding to support digital access and skills but lack the operational capacity to deliver programs at scale.
MACIR exists to fill that gap.
We partner with public and nonprofit organizations to turn funding into well-run, accountable programs that produce real outcomes for residents.
Our Role
MACIR operates as an implementation partner, not just a program designer. Our work includes
- Designing grant-aligned programs
- Operating device and support infrastructure
- Delivering digital skills and navigation services
- Tracking outcomes and supporting reporting
What Makes MACIR Different
This end-to-end approach allows partners to expand impact without overloading internal teams.
- Built for execution, not theory
- Designed to reduce operational burden
- Structured for accountability and reporting
- Proven across multiple communities and delivery environments
