Mass Association for Computer and Internet Resources (MACIR) is a grassroots 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established in 2016 by a group of professionals with a strong commitment to bridging the digital divide and advancing racial equity within the field of technology careers.  

We envision a world where every adult has the opportunity to pursue a promising career. Recognizing the importance of providing equal access to opportunities in the technology sector, MACIR is dedicated to bridging the gap and ensuring that individuals from all backgrounds have the chance to thrive in this rapidly evolving field.

To make this vision a reality, we have developed comprehensive Technical Support job training. This program equips individuals from diverse backgrounds with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in technical support roles. Our training curriculum is carefully designed to ensure that our students gain practical expertise and industry-relevant competencies.

Our team consists of experienced instructors and passionate volunteers who are dedicated to supporting our students throughout their learning journey. They provide guidance and mentorship, helping students acquire industry-recognized certificates that validate their skills and enhance their employability. Additionally, our coaches prioritize the development of professional soft skills, ensuring that our trainees are well-equipped to succeed in the competitive job market. They offer valuable assistance in crafting compelling resumes that effectively showcase our students’ abilities and potential.

“A dream that comes true”

I’ve always had a dream of working from home and being able to spend more time with my three-year-old son. That dream became a reality when I discovered MACIR, a program that offered an incredible opportunity to work remotely and improve my financial situation in a short amount of time, without any cost. At first, the eight-week MACIR Tech support job program seemed too good to be true, but I decided to give it a try since I had nothing to lose. The dedicated and professional instructors at MACIR guided me through the program, helping me earn my Google IT Support Certificate in less than eight weeks and ultimately securing a full-time entry-level IT job.

This accomplishment was particularly significant for me as I had only been in the U.S. for three years. Throughout my initial IT job training, the coaches at MACIR were always there to support me and provide guidance.

After completing my 90 days of training at CodexIT, a renowned technology company specializing in software solutions for eye care practices, I am now working remotely, assisting healthcare professionals with their software needs. This opportunity has allowed me to fulfill my dream of working from home while also balancing my responsibilities as a parent.
